Hanging Out

I love mimicking my Dad, he laughs, I laugh. He screams, I scream. He makes scary sounds, and I just giggle.

I love Elmo, what can I say. He's my buddy, but when I catch him playing with my toys or riding my truck without me, then I have to get him.
I love hanging out in the back yard, eating rocks, dirt, grass, and pulling the blossoms of flowers off. They don't stick back on once you pull them off, by the way.

I also love sitting in anything I can climb into. I can pretty much get into any place now, but getting out can sometimes cause injury. Oh, well, I just scream for Mom and she usually helps me out, tells me no, then after I stop crying, I go right back to the same spot and get stuck again. I have to figure this stuff out by myself!!

So my Dad got me a set of golf clubs and Mom thought that I wouldn't know what to do with them, or wouldn't care to play with them. Boy did I show her!! I love doing anything my Daddy is doing, and he is really playing with his golf clubs these days, and so am I. I practice at least 4 times a day. Watch out Dad, at this rate I will be better than you in a few months!

My first sunburn!! Ouch!

So adorable in my Easter dress!

With my Aunt Jeanne when she visited me. I miss you!!

Stunts 101

First, I like to push my tiny firetruck around until I get stuck under the table. Mom laughs, but helps me out because I cannot figure out that I can crawl out.

Then, I like to ride my big truck with my snake wrapped around my neck; it's way dangerous.

I still like to chill in my bean bag to watch a movie, and I love my new puppy that Daddy gave me, he gets lots of hugs and kisses.
Now here is where it gets interesing, see. I pretend like I am going to put my leg over the seat to sit on my truck, but......

HA!! Instead I like to do a stand on it like I am a pro motorcycle rider!! My Daddy laughs and laughs, and Mommy just thinks its so cool she squeels until I get off.
They couldn't catch a picture of me while I was standing all the way up saying, "Look!! No hands!!" but you get the idea.

It's a Boy!

Hannah will have a baby brother, according to the ultrasound today. Baby brother is due to be born July 29th, 2007. So now everyone can start stocking up on boy clothes, blankets and bedding for us, we have none and no hand-me-downs for boys either! So feel free to hit garage sales and any hand-me-downs send our way!!!

We are so excited to have a boy, it will be a whole new learning experience for us! He looks so beautiful and is growing right on schedule. It does look like he has huge feet like his Dad and big eyes like Mom, and he was trying to suck his thumb!!

Pretty soon the blog will have to be shared by brother and sister, so many exciting things to come with Hannah getting to know him and getting used to sharing Mommy (yikes!!).

Hi There! Hannah now says hi to just about everything, as long as they don't say hi first. She is a little shy in her response still, and says good-bye usually after people leave. It sounds like she says "Hayden," which is funny because this is Kirk's top pick for Baby X's name. She does say "Go," whenever she wants to go outside, and also knows ball, book, juice, eat, dog, cat, banana, Elmo (of course), bear, and she is now learning about sounds outside and is learning bird. We are slow going on signing, but Mom is not so consistent with signing to her all day. She does seem to understand the signs, but does not sign back, as far as I can tell yet.

Hannah loves her tomatos and is getting pretty good with her spoon, but can't quite scoop yet.
She loves her balls and chases them around inside and out. She kicks them and rolls around on them, giggling and squeeling.

She still loves her bath time, and Dad loves styling her shampoo'd hair. We had to put the cutie bootie shot, it's just too cute how she runs around after getting undressed for her bath.
She is getting so big, 13 months old and now in the big girl car chair facing forward, which she loves!!! She is still being a cling-on these days, and doesn't take being away from Mom too long and is getting more weary of people. I think she's worried that they will take her away from Mommy!! She's good at backing up and doing an about face when she feels she might be snatched by Grandpa Peter!!

Viva Las Vegas!!

We know this is site is officially for Hannah, but Mom and Dad can have some fun too!! We finally got to take our honeymoon to Las Vegas (just weeks before our first anniversary) this past weekend. We had a great time, and 4 days was way too long to be gone from our baby girl!! Mom, Dad and Hannah were so happy to finally be home together, the house was very quiet last night with contented sleepers.

Kirk has not been to Vegas in 19 years, so many, many things have changed. We had sooooo much to see in the few days, but we did pretty good. A shocker for us was the new bridge being built over Hoover Dam (the picture of columns in the sky), as if the dam wasn't enough of an amazing feat by man, now they are building an enormous bridge right over it!!

We saw some wonderful shows with real Vegas show girls (both with and without tops!), impersonators, amazing aerial acts, and also enjoyed the view from atop the Stratosphere Tower. The picture of a device hanging out over the edge up there is tilt-o-whirl ride that swings you out over the edge facing down the 1,200 ft drop below. We did not ride these crazy things, it was enough just to watch! We did ride the new monorail a lot (picture of Kirk in green cyborg cave) - it's apparently the first unmanned train in the world, and it runs so smoothly!! We also rode one of the double-decker buses (The Deuce) down the strip, and it took almost an hour to go 3 blocks!! The monorail is the only way to go.

We had a blast playing games and watching jugglers and magicians at Circus Circus, we felt like kids again. And, because of the promotional trip we bought (OH, and we didn't buy a timeshare everyone), we received lots of free stuff, including food vouchers to Caesar's Palace where we really enjoyed a nice dinner and relaxing atmosphere our last night. Oh, and Kirk finally won on the tables hours before we left Sunday morning while Erin slept (you can see what good luck his wife is for him- ha ha). Erin is horrible to gamble with because she keeps asking how much have we spent (lost), it kind of kills the mojo and hopes of winning for everyone! It all works out ok because she would much rather be sleeping at 2am anyways!!

Oh, and here's a few cute pictures of our baby Hannah - we missed her so much!! It seems like she grew so much while we were gone!
