We are all enjoying the backyard, and Kirk is quite the grill master. He makes the best pork ribs you'll have this side of Texas!! (he-he) We enjoyed seeing Grandpa Peter and Grandma Diane this weekend and had a wonderful dinner in Los Alamos with them. I guess it is official that Hannah is crawling!! She is able to crawl, however, prefers to stand up!! Hope to get more pictures of her silliness soon!! Stay tuned!!

You have to learn to walk before you crawl!!

Hannah loves to show off her standing abilities!! It is just amazing, she will scoot across the floor on elbows and knees, but at her first opportunity, this girl wants to stand, period!! She has very strong legs and when you try to merely sit her up, BOOM!!, she stands up on you!! For all of you far away, here is are also some pictures of Hannah's new backyard, which is this green (in the desert) all by itself. The rains over the last month have been sufficient to keep all the vegetation beautifully alive! Imagine that!!

Also, some pictures of Hannah's new high chair. She is still basically eating lumpy veggies, fruits and rice cereal, but did gnaw on a hard piece of toast and destroyed it, so she is starting to branch out. She loves her new house and backyard, as do her happy parents!!

Crawling?!!!!

Hannah Bear is really scooting now!! Daddy saw her really crawl on Sunday during the big move, but she hasn't really done it again. She scoots like a pro on her tummy, but hasn't quite gotten the coordination of all four limbs together yet. She is enjoying her new house, relaxing on the carpet and scooting around everywhere - watch out!!

She also recently acquired a new hobby of exploring her activity center given by her cousin Amy Walsh.

Hannah is eating applesauce, prunes, rice cereal, oatmeal, sweet potatoes, peas, bananas and loves white grape juice and water!! Her main meal is still from Mommy, but she has really taken to trying anything!! She has started grabbing the spoon and putting it in her own mouth, sucking it dry then throwing down for more.

We went to our first swim classes yesterday and Hannah did great at chasing balls with her hands and didn't mind the splashes and water in her eyes.

She gets her 6 month shots tomorrow (yikes) and Mom and Dad cannot believe it is already time. The first few months lingered, but somewhere along the way, the time just flew by! Every day with Hannah is a blessing. She is so happy all the time and amazes us with her sense of humor and smarts. God really blessed us with a wonderful child!!
