December 2008

We also welcomed a new baby to the world......Riley Ouray Swann, to which Kirk is basically an Uncle. She is so precious, and has a beautiful smile already. Congratulations to CR and Niki!!

We spent christmas in Nathrop, CO, in the heart of the rocky mountains. We had a gorgeous HUGE cabin, plenty of space for all our family! We loved skiing at Monarch, but Hannah wasn't so thrilled for her first time. We stayed for 9 days so the kids had plenty of time to enjoy the snow and learn about so many new things. Happy New Year!!

We visited in Los Alamos and had a fabulous time. It was our last time with Roger, he passed away before Christmas and is also greatly missed. So we are now without loved pets in Los Alamos, and it is taking some getting used to for sure. But we always have a wonderful time with GP and Grandma!

October Fun 2008

Had to document this, Kirk was knocked out by Hayden. A head-butt to the nose. Daddy was a little embarrassed.

Hannah was a fairy princess for Halloween, totally adorable. Too bad we did not get better pictures of her, she was a mile a minute that night!!

Hayden actually needed an emergency bath due to bad diaper rash, so Hannah of course wanted to join in!!

We received a child's easle from Aunt Connie and Hannah put it to good use right away. She is getting so good at writing her name.

Camping in Jemez - Sept 2008

This was a wonderful trip with GP, Grandma Diane and Dan. Unfortunately, it was our last with Dan, who passed away about a month and half later. We miss him terribly, and love that we had the time we did with him.

Sedona & Grand Canyon - Labor Day 2008

Just posting all the great things we missed getting on the blog. Trying to play catch up! Don't know how many people even check this site anymore since I haven't updated in so long.
