Hannah is Chillin
Hannah is due Thursday, February 2, 2006.
I am getting a lot of people saying - "Hey! You're ready to pop!" I wish it was as easy as it sounds! The maternity clothes are actually getting tight, so Kirk now gets to hear the opposite of my gripes from months ago, which were, "All my clothes are too big!" Doctor says Hannah is in the perfect position, her head is way down, her butt is coming out my belly button, and her feet found a whole new place to stretch out under my ribs! I will not be surprised if she is already 2 feet tall at birth since mom & dad are all legs!
The nesting bug is very alive at work and home for Erin! Everything must be in order!!
Kirk is putting 110% into building his new business as a Senior Specialist with Bankers Life & Casualty. He loves his work and is excited to have flexibility with such awesome earning potential. He's looking to move up fast, and they are very impressed with him! Good job Dad-to be!
He keeps telling Hannah everyday that it's OK to come out now. She likes to play with him when he pokes my belly. We found the heat of his hand will make her relax if she is squirming, and his voice also calms her within seconds. Kirk insists that he will be doing night duty, and is a little miffed that he won't be able to feed her from a bottle for the first 6 weeks (to avoid nipple confusion for successful breast feeding). We are so anxious to hold her!!
